CUIDADO GERAL COM O MOTOR

Engine check

Check daily for any oil and/or fuel leakage, thread nut and

bolt tightness, and overall cleanliness.

Engine air ﬁ lter:

Replace air ﬁ lter if dirty. See Engine Owner’s Manual for

detailed information.

Engine oil

Check daily. Inspect with blade removed and saw frame

level on a level surface. Keep the oil clean, and at the proper

servicing level (Figure 6). DO NOT OVERFILL! SAE 10W-

30 of SG is recommended for general use.

Engine oil change

Change engine oil the ﬁ rst month or 20 hours of operation.

Then every 3 months/or 50 HOURS of operation. See

Engine Owner’s Manual for detailed information.

Drain the used oil while the engine is warm by the following

method:

Refer to Figure 25.

Place an oil pan or suitable container below the engine 1.

drain plug to catch the used oil.

Remove the ﬁ ller cap/dipstick and the drain plug.2.

Drain the oil completely and reinstall the drain plug. 3.

Ensure the drain plug is tightened securely.

Make sure the engine is in a level position and ﬁ ll to the 4.

outer edge of the oil ﬁ ller hole with the recommended

oil. (See Table 4.) Engine oil capacity is 1.16 US quart

(1.1 liter).

Screw in the ﬁ ller cap/dipstick securely.5.

Engine tank and strainer

Clean every year/or 300 hours.

Fuel line

Replace every two years/or as necessary.

Spark plug

Clean/adjust every 6 months/or 100 hours. Replace every

year/ or 300 hours.

CUIDADO

Running the engine with a low oil level can cause

engine damage.

NOTICE

Dispose of used oil properly. DO NOT pour used oil on

the ground, down a drain, or throw in the trash. Used

oil can generally be taken to your local recycling center

or service station for reclamation. Follow all required

environmental rules and regulations required in your

area concerning the disposal of hazardous waste such

as used oil and oil ﬁ lters.

NOTA

Verificação do motor

Filtro de ar do motor:

Substitua o filtro de ar se estiver sujo. Consulte o Manual do

Proprietário do Motor para informação mais detalhada.

Óleo do motor

Verifique diariamente. Inspecione com a lâmina retirada e a

estrutura da serra em uma superfície nivelada. Mantenha o

óleo limpo, e com o nível correto (Figura 6). NÃO ENCHA

DEMAIS! É recomendado o óleo SAE 10W-30 da SG para uso

geral.

Troca de óleo do motor

Troque o óleo do motor após o primeiro mês ou com 20 horas

de operação. A partir de então, a cada 3 meses ou a cada 50

HORAS de operação. Consulte o Manual do Proprietário do

Motor para informação mais detalhada.

Drene o óleo usado enquanto o motor estiver quente pelo

método seguinte:

Consulte a Figura 25.

1. Coloque um coletor de óleo ou um recipiente apropriado

sob o bujão de drenagem do motor para coletar o óleo usado.

2. Retire a vareta/tampão do bocal de enchimento e o bujão

de drenagem.

3. Drene completamente o óleo e reinstale o bujão de

drenagem. Assegure-se de que o bujão de drenagem foi

apertado com firmeza.

4. Tenha certeza de que o motor está em uma posição

nivelada e encha até a borda externa do bocal de enchimento

com o óleo indicado. (Consulte a Tabela 4.) A capacidade de

óleo do motor é de 1,16 quartos americanos (1,1 litro).

5. Atarraxe a vareta/tampão no bocal de enchimento com

firmeza.

Operar o motor com um nível baixo de óleo pode causar

danificação nele.

Descarte corretamente o óleo usado. NÃO despeje o óleo

usado no solo, em um dreno, nem o coloque no lixo.

Geralmente o óleo usado pode ser levado ao centro de

reciclagem ou estação de serviço da sua localidade para

recuperação. Siga todas as regulamentações ambientais

exigidas em sua área com respeito ao descarte de lixo

perigoso tal como óleo e filtros de óleo usados.

Tanque do motor e peneira

Limpe a cada ano ou 300 horas.

Substitua a cada dois anos ou quando for necessário.

Limpe/ajuste a cada 6 meses ou 100 horas. Substitua a cada

ano ou 300 horas.
