OPERAÇÃO

Grasp the starter grip (Figure 23) and slowly pull it out. 7.

The resistance becomes the hardest at the compression

point. Pull the starter grip briskly and smoothly for

starting.

If the engine has started, slowly return the choke lever 8.

(Figure 21) to the "OPEN" position. If the engine has

not started repeat steps 1 through 7.

Before the saw is placed into operation, run the engine 9.

for several minutes. Check for fuel leaks, and noises

that could be associated with loose guards and/or

covers.

CUIDADO

DO NOT pull the starter rope all the way to the end.

DO NOT release the starter rope after pulling. Allow it

to rewind as soon as possible.

OPERAÇÃO

AVISO

ALWAYS cut with the saw at FULL THROTTLE. •

Attempting to cut with the saw at less than full throttle

could cause the blade to bind or stop abruptly in the

slab resulting in serious injury to the operator or

others in the area.

ALWAYS keep clear of rotating or moving parts while •

operating this equipment.

CUIDADO

Ensure the cutting area is clear of tools, debris, and •

unauthorized people.

DO NOT try to cut faster than the blade will allow. •

Cutting too fast will cause the blade to rise up out of

the cut. Improper cutting rate can decrease the life

of the engine and blades.

Engine components and the blade can get •

EXTREMELY HOT! during operation. ALWAYS

allow the engine and blade to cool before handling

or servicing.

Whenever the saw is not in operation or being moved •

or transported, apply the wheel clamp brakes to

prevent unwanted displacement.

NOTICE

Mark the cutting line clearly and always saw in a

STRAIGHT LINE ONLY.

NOTICE

The Engine Stop Switch located on the handlebar

(Figure 16) serves both as an Emergency Engine

Shut-Off and as the primary ON/OFF switch. This

allows the operator to shutdown the saw safely away

from moving parts.

NOTA

NÃO puxe o cabo de arranque até o fim. NÃO solte o cabo

de arranque depois de puxá-lo. Permita que ele rebobine

tão logo seja possível.

8. Se o motor partiu, retorne lentamente com a alavanca do

afogador (Figura 21) para a posição "ABERTO". Se o motor

não partiu, repita os passos de 1 a 7.

9. Antes que a serra seja posta em operação, deixe o motor

funcionar por alguns minutos. Verifique quanto a vazamentos

de combustível, e ruídos que possam estar associados a

guardas e/ou coberturas frouxas.

7. Segure a alça do cabo de arranque (Figura 23) e puxe-a

lentamente. A resistência se torna maior no ponto de

compressão. Então puxe a alça do cabo de arranque forte e

continuamente para dar a partida.

• SEMPRE opere a serra com ACELERAÇÃO TOTAL.

Tentar operar a serra abaixo da sua aceleração total pode

fazer com que a lâmina fique presa ou pare abruptamente

no piso, o que resulta em ferimento sério no operador ou

em outros na área.

• Mantenha-se SEMPRE afastado de peças rotativas ou

móveis enquanto operar este equipamento.

• Assegure-se de que a área de corte está livre de

ferramentas, detritos, e pessoas não autorizadas.

• NÃO tente fazer o corte mais rapidamente do que é

permitido para a lâmina. Cortar muito rapidamente fará

com que a lâmina saia fora do corte. Velocidade

inadequada para o corte pode reduzir a vida útil do motor e

das lâminas.

• Os componentes do motor e a lâmina podem ficar

EXTREMAMENTE QUENTES(!) durante a operação.

Deixe SEMPRE o motor e a lâmina esfriarem antes de

tocar neles ou fazer manutenção.

• Sempre que a serra não estiver em operação ou sendo

movida ou transportada, aplique os freios de bloqueio das

rodas para evitar um deslocamento indesejado.

Marque claramente a linha de corte e serre sempre

APENAS EM LINHA RETA.

O Interruptor de parada do motor localizado no guidão

(Figura 16) serve tanto para uma Parada de Emergência

do motor quanto para uma operação normal LIG/DESL.

Isto permite ao operador parar com segurança a serra

estando afastado das peças móveis.
